All kids know that, even if they dont follow it. But for a 21 year old to ignore it? Tut tut.
The 21 year old in question better mind it! He would do well to look left and right before crossing the road at various times – for example(hypothetical), when he leaves his house and when he returns. Explaining this hypothetical example further, he should pause at the gate, look left and right, see who are all there see to it that no one is close enough to get hit by him and only then proceed. Also, this will allow his admirers to drool over him other people to ensure their own security
Let me see what it promises.

WHY DIDNT I LISTEN TO MY PARENTS AND OTHER ELDERS WHILE GROWING UP?
*grumbles that things would be a lot less awkward had he done said listening*
All you youngsters(that includes you BLACKI),listen to your elders(me included) when we say, uhm, “listen to elders”. I have learnt it the hard way.

What you can do to not get beaten up by your fellow countrymen!
1)Stay where you are born! No silly! I dont mean the bloody hospital or nursing home.
2)Talk in your mother tongue. ENNA RASCALA?
3)Be vigilant against the Western Influence.
4)Mind it *UNIVERSAL LAW*
5)Dont paint or sculpt disgusting and perverted stuff, even if you are just imitating the stuff you see in monuments which are our cultural pride!
6)Celebrate Valentine’s day the same way you celebrate any working day ( from a student’s perspective of the latter : do NOTHING)
7)Behaved decently in public ( no kissing and other romantic stuff, but breaking windows, setting fire to anything that can be burned and beating up your fellow countrymen is OK)

I left for Coimbatore last night(Feb 21st) on the Cheran Express. I have travelled many a time on said train and my comfort level is quite high.
Yesterday, my sense of security was shattered by the extorting eunuchs(or hijras) in the train.
While I have encountered them often(and paid them each time) when travelling to Bangalore,Goa,Pune, I have never seen them on a Chennai-Coimbatore train.
It is the worst thing for something bad to happen at the last place you would think it could happen. Its not that being forced to pay them money is something new. Its just that whenever I had to pay them, I used to think(and take comfort in that) these things never happened inside Tamil Nadu.
And this time, when I gave them 10 rupees, they said that there are 10 of them and forced me to give 10 more. I suppose I should be grateful that they did not demand 100 rupees or more (what a stupid world).
I cant believe that this kind of extortion has become commonplace. And I think its definitely weird that whenever they come, you cant find a security guard closeby.
Something has got to be done about this.
Because of this.No other reason ( I prefer delusion to cold hard reality).
I suppose the people who go around doing such distasteful stuff(distasteful IMHO) do it because they have no chance of doing “distasteful” stuff(distasteful in their not so humble opinion).

Does he mean “dead against” ? Or that Terrible Valentine’s Day has no hope against them? Knowing these fellows, they may believe the latter as well.
They may be for civilized love and affection, but what about civilized behaviour on the streets?

Well, what do you know? I thought these kind of protests were reserved for “Man and Man” and “Woman and Woman” (I understand Earth/Fire/Wind/Water/Heart…I mean,one of Earth/Fire/Water had such elements which shocked our moral society!)
But “Man and Woman”? Then we may as well as ban all movies/tv shows/books, not to mention exiling everyone but bachelors and spinsters(non-dating of course).
I suppose all that is left for the remaining people is “Me and Myself”, which, quite frankly, gets boring after a while.
I feel this guy’s pain/frustration. I really do.
